About Sweet Elle Café

Sweet Elle Café is a cafe in Huntington Beach, California. It is listed at 328 11th St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, which places it among the local businesses of Huntington Beach that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6:30 am–2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, sweetelleonline.com.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 92 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded cafes & coffee in Huntington Beach.

Huntington Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Huntington Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We've been here about 6 or 7 times over the years and usually save it as a special treat since it is on the pricier side. The space has changed quite a bit over the last 2 years, and I'm genuinely happy to see the business grow and evolve. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We ordered 2 coffees with their house made oat milk and a couple of breakfast items, which came to about $52 before tip. My coffee arrived with a hair in it. While that's never ideal, I understand mistakes happen. We had already waited around 10 minutes for the first coffee and a few more minutes for the second, so I asked for a replacement. By the time the replacement was ready, we had finished our breakfast and my partner had already finished their coffee. Since we needed to leave, I took the replacement to go. Unfortunately, the replacement tasted very watered down and off. I even had my partner try it, and they agreed that something didn't seem right. I have always enjoyed supporting small businesses and have had good experiences here in the past, which makes this review disappointing to write. Between the quality issues and the price point, this visit did not feel worth the cost, and I don't t

The place itself looks super cute. But the experience i had wasn’t so great. I ordered a Lox Bagel, and they asked me if I would like that open face (for 7$ extra). I asked what open face meant, and he explained to me that it is the bagel cut in half, opened, and then basically two sandwiches. When I got my order, I only received half a bagel. I went back to ask if they forgot the rest of my order, and then another person told me that this is the whole order. So I just paid nearly 25$ for half a bagel, and also got lied to (because I was told it would be two pieces). I am not sure what you would receive without “open face”, but it doesn’t make sense to me that half a bagel is more expensive than a normal bagel. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast bowl, which was also a bit disappointing. We paid over 50$ for two drinks and two food items, not including a tip. Would not recommend this place.

Great local spot for breakfast, brunch or whenever! Depending on the day parking could be easy because it is tucked in a neighborhood. The menu iteams are all fresh and made on site. I had the cranberry orange scone and tea and it was delightful.

If you’re looking for breakfast on a budget, this is not the place for you. 2 drinks and 2 food items were $45 before tip. If you’re gluten free, they charge a $5 up-charge for gf bagels. Sorry, but you can’t really call yourself allergen friendly if you’re charging that much for a gluten free substitution. I wouldn’t recommended or come back.
